Wooden framed looms as well as simple craft-type looms are constructed for each student. Advanced students use color theory to compose pieces with intricate weaving techniques while beginners are introduced to the medium using simpler looms and materials. Yarn, chord, cotton as well as many other materials are used to create intricate weaves. Each student that participates in an advanced weaving class must show an understanding of project planning as well as an understanding in advanced color theory. Simpler looms allow for students of all ages to create basic weaves that form desired patterns and shapes.
